48 Pin ZIF Socket

Need to program several 27Cxxxx EPROM’s?
Well here is the solution, a 48 Pin ZIF Socket with standoffs that will fit the 27Cxxxx adapter on both the 40 AND 42 Pin sockets. Just attach the standoffs and plug it in.
48 Pins means you can use it on both sockets and you do not need to pry the chip off the socket every time.

Important Note when using the 27Cxxxx adapter.
ALWAYS use the provided standoffs. If you do not then the adapter is really close to the programmer PCB and if the underside touches the top of the USB housing then this adapter will no longer work.
Even better, sick a small piece of rubber on top of the USB housing.
