RS232 to RS485 Passive Converter

In order to communicate between various standard computer ports and external equipment we must sometimes convert the signal. This converter is compatible with RS232C and RS485 standard. It is able to convert RS232 signal to RS485 balanced differential signal and extend the communiaction distance to 1.2km.
It is passive and does not require external power, it gains power from the RS232 signals (RTS, DTR, TXD) with initialising the RS232 interface. An external transceiver automatically controls the data stream direction instead of handshake signals.
The Interface Board requires a +5v supply.
Capable of transmission rates of 300 - 115200bps between host computers and external equipment and forms point to point and point to multi-point networks.
It is widely used in industrial automation, ATM's, toll gates, car parking control, staff attendance management etc.
